Baltic Financial Forum is an annual international meeting dedicated to the most important developments in the economic, financial and banking sectors in the Baltic countries.

 

The 15th BFF will focus on the most topical issues and financial challenges for Baltic companies during the current economic crisis. Throughout the discussions, representatives of Baltic companies and organisations, CEO’s and CFO’s, investors, tax lawyers, bankers and finance experts will discuss the most topical issues of the current situation in the Baltics. These sessions will be both interactive and thought-provocative.

The conference focuses on the most topical issues devoted to the financial challenges facing Baltic companies during economic turmoil.

 

· How current government tax policy can influence the business climate in the Baltics.

· The financial challenges for Baltic companies during the economic upheaval.

Programme

Conference participants will examine the latest trends in the Latvian credit market and will offer practical solutions to creditors on debt collection. Panelists and conference participants will be involved in practical discussions focused on dealing with overdue payments related to mortgages, credit cards, consumer credit and utility services.

 

This conference will enable participants to be involved in practical discusions on the following issues:

 

·      The compulsory execution of uncontested debt obligations.

·      The methods of compulsory debt collection in accordance with written warning procedures.

·      Issues regarding the execution of judgments.

·      Claims against the executive body of a debtor.
